QBS Technology Group has taken its channel leadership through QBS Software Delivery Platform to yet another level — beating out rivals at the Lloyds Bank Business Excellence Awards 2021.

Kumar Bhamidipati, group chief operating officer at QBS Software, said via LinkedIn: “We were thrilled to take home not one, but two awards from the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards in London on 9 November!”

Juliet Oecken, channel development manager at QBS Software, reported that QBS Technology Group took home a prize for Scale-up Business of the Year as well as the Mid-Market Business of the Year title.

The prestigious Lloyds Bank Mid-Market Business of the Year Award is open to any company with a turnover of more than £25 million that has demonstrated exceptional financial returns, strong growth and innovation strategies, and market prominence in its sector.

According to the organiser, Sarah Austin Events, the winner is the company that best demonstrates an established market position; excellent growth or expansion; potential for sustained growth and innovation in products, services or processes.

In addition, they must show strong customer and staff engagement, effective leadership and management and an ethical approach to business as well as strong planning and business results.

Scale-up Business of the Year


QBS Technology Group also brought home the Lloyds Bank Business Excellence Awards’ Scale-up Business of the Year title for 2021.

Competitors for the prize must turn over at least £3 million a year and be former SMEs or start-ups that have since seen spectacular growth, especially if they’ve retained key founders and recruited brilliant new talent as well as they took the next step.
